How does an architectural LED animation system work?

The system works by synchronously driving addressable LED luminaires placed on the facade through DMX512-based control units. Since the luminaires can be addressed individually, programmable light animations and media facade content can be created on the building surface.

For facade animation, the Skyliner, MeshLiner, PoiPix and WallWasher series are offered, along with the DMX control units that drive them. These series are positioned for facade and media facade applications on skyscrapers, shopping malls, hotels and public buildings, based on different housing, mounting and optical requirements.

The series are produced for outdoor facade applications in a variety of housing types that meet the different lighting and mounting requirements of architectural facades. Content and scenarios are managed centrally through the DMX control layer.
