Data collected and purposes of processing

Website usage data

When you visit the website, technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, requested page or file, referring address, access date and time, and error and security logs may be processed automatically. We use this data to provide the website, resolve technical issues, maintain information security, detect misuse and improve our services.

Contact data

When you contact us through a contact form, email or telephone, we may process your name, email address, telephone number, selected department, message and any other information you provide with your request. We use this data to respond to your request, manage quotation and support processes and contact you again where necessary.

Analytics data

We may use analytics services such as Google Analytics to measure website performance and usage trends. Online identifiers, visited pages and interaction statistics may be processed for this purpose.

Collection methods, legal bases and disclosure

Personal data is collected electronically through website forms, email, telephone, cookies and similar technologies, and server logs.

Depending on the processing activity, we rely on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK, including necessity for the establishment or performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and our legitimate interests provided that your fundamental rights are not harmed. Where no other legal ground applies, non-essential analytics or marketing technologies are based on your explicit consent.

To the extent required for these purposes, data may be disclosed to authorised Oliptek employees, hosting, information technology, security and analytics service providers, legally authorised public bodies, and relevant parties in a lawful merger, transfer or restructuring. Where an international transfer is required, the transfer conditions and appropriate safeguards under Article 9 of the KVKK are applied.

Cookies, pixels and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites. Cookies that are strictly necessary for the session and core website functions may be used to provide the service you request. Non-essential preference, performance, analytics and marketing cookies should only be activated according to your prior choice where required by law.

First-party cookies may be set by Oliptek, while third-party cookies may be set by the providers of services used on the website. The site may contain third-party services such as Google Analytics and embedded YouTube content. Under their own policies, these services may process information such as IP addresses, browser data, online identifiers and interaction data.

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent some website functions from operating correctly.

Retention and security

Under the current operational policy, server security logs are retained for 7 days to detect and monitor misuse. Contact and request data is retained for the time necessary to conclude the relevant request and for any applicable statutory retention periods.

When the purpose of processing or a legal retention obligation ends, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. We apply technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risk to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.

Your rights and how to apply

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may apply to Oliptek to:

  • learn whether your personal data is processed and request information if it has been processed,
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
  • know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data has been disclosed,
  • request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
  • request deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met and notification of these actions to recipients,
  • object to an adverse result arising from analysis performed exclusively by automated systems,
  • claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

Where the GDPR applies, you may also have rights to restriction, data portability, objection, withdrawal of consent and lodging a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

You may send your request, together with information sufficient to verify your identity and an explanation of your request, to oliptek@hs01.kep.tr, through your registered electronic communication channel or by post to the address above.
