A smart city lighting system with a LoRaWAN (868 MHz) infrastructure has been installed in approximately 580 acres of SEKAPARK, regarded by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality as one of Kocaeli's most important urban parks and an event center for the Marmara region. A total of 820 luminaires on 460 energy-saving lighting poles perform control and monitoring functions by transferring data via a star network topology through 5 network gateways to the OLIOS software on the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality's servers.
